Original Signed Watercolor of an Alternate Dust Jacket Design for The Rabbits' Wedding
Garth Williams. Painting of unused dust jacket design for The Rabbits' Wedding.Garth Williams. Original watercolor of an unused dust jacket design for The Rabbits' Wedding, 1958. Ink and watercolor on two large pieces of paper glued together to form one long sheet.
Folded by the artist, with vertical creases at spine and flaps, and with a horizontal crease running across the middle of the entire sheet. Approximately 12.5 x 23 inches. Signed in full by Williams on right side. Shallow folds and one nick to top edge. Also, with two lettering examples of titles with layout suggestions, on acetate measuring approximately 6 x 10 inches. Smudge to one of the letters. All generally fine.
