Garth Williams. Illustration #31, Charlotte's Web.Garth Williams. Original preliminary drawings for illustration #31 (appearing on page 118) of Charlotte's Web, 1952: Mr. Zuckerman dreams of Wilbur as a giant, prize-winning pig. Pencil on paper. Two sheets measuring 10.875 x 8.5 inches. Each initialed by Williams at lower right. The earlier study with an unrelated notation in pencil by Williams about a WNYC radio program titled "What are we doing for our talented children." One with shallow folds to lower left corner. Fine.
