First edition, limited to 960 copies on Aurelian paper, the first 13 of which include an original signed ink drawing finished with watercolors by Alexander King, this copy is numbered 12. Signed by Bulliet on half title page. Quarto. 308 pages. With frontispiece and 11 black and white illustrations, in addition to the drawing special to this edition.

Contemporary full purple morocco with four raised bands. Gilt titles and decoration to boards and backstrip. Green morocco triangular onlays at head and foot. Top edge gilt with remaining untrimmed. Gilt inner dentelles with green morocco doublures. Green moiré endpapers. Lightly rubbed with some scuffing. Front hinge split. Pages mildly toned. A very good copy.
