Presentation copy, inscribed by Bradbury: "For Nils Hardin - / And to the Ghost of / Mrs Miller - This / Book is Signed With / Signed With [sic] Love / to Rest the Ghost, / And Affection to / Greet a New Friend - / Ray Bradbury / Jan. 14, 1977" on the front free endpaper. Octavo. [viii], [314], 2, blank pages. Publisher's full black cloth with gilt spine titles. Original pictorial dust jacket by George Barrows. Mild rubbing to binding, with some dust-soiling. Corners bumped. Bottom edge scuffed. Mild offsetting to endleaves. Bookplate to front pastedown. Some rubbing and edge wear to the dust jacket, with a few small chips, creases and short tears. Noticeable dust-soiling and foxing to both sides of the jacket. A very good copy of Bradbury's first story collection. Nils Hardin was a publisher and editor, most notably of the 1970s fanzine Xenophile. Currey, page [55].
