New edition with a glossary. Twelvemo. 820 pages. With a split fore-edge painting. Split horizontally, one half of the fore-edge depicts a bust of Edmund Spenser, the other half a gentle knight.

Contemporary full purple morocco with gilt ruling and titles. Lightly rubbed and scuffed with mild sunning to backstrip. A very good copy.
