[World War II]. James Doolittle Typed Letter Signed. One page, 8.25" x 11", Saint Louis, Missouri, May 2, 1938. Typed on "Shell Petroleum Corporation" letterhead. Doolittle writes that he is unsure "whether or not it will be possible to obtain an extra set of credentials for Mr. E. L. Bass, Aviation Technical Advisor for the Shell company in London." Toned edges with red and lead pencil markings from a previous collector.Auction Info
