James Madison Land Grant Signed. One partially printed, vellum page, 13.75" x 8", Washington, October 3, 1809, granting "...Henry Burget...the North West quarter of Lot...Number Twenty three..." Countersigned by Robert Smith as secretary of state. Light to moderate toning in places. Folds are weakened with very small holes in places resulting in minor loss of text. Lower left corner is wrinkled and upper right corner is slightly damaged.Auction Info
