[Revolutionary War]. Fair Copy of a Pay Receipt for the Military Service of Moses Raymond of Samuel Comstock's Company. One page, 8.25" x 13", Hartford, February 6, 1778, giving to "Moses Raymond of Norwalk...half pay from March 15, 1777 to Feby 6th 1778...£10:15:04." Raymond was "wounded in the Army at Delaney's Mills in West Chester on the 26th day of Jany 1777 by the Enemy." Toned along the folds. Fine.Auction Info
