[Revolutionary War]. Perez Morton and James Otis Military Appointment Signed, dated April 10, 1776. One page, 15.25" x 13", Massachusetts, appointing James Convers "Colonel of the fourth Regiment of Militia in the County of Worcester." Also includes fifteen signatures of members of the council, such as Benjamin Lincoln and Caleb Cushing. Foxing, dark spots, chipping along the edges, and complete separations along most folds.
