Inscribed on the front free endpaper to Frieda Lawrence, widow of author D.H. And I'm glad too that Angelino is amongst us & of us -- Feb, 3/37 / At An American Place while Georgia [O'Keeffe] was hanging her 'show'." A wonderful association, linking three important artists of the early 20th Century: D.H. Lawrence, Georgia O'Keeffe, and Alfred Stieglitz.
