[John F. Kennedy]. Two Printed Speeches to be Delivered by the President in Dallas and Austin and a Printed Dinner Program. Three pieces, each measuring 8.5" x 14", being the text of a speech titled "We are . . . the Watchmen on the Walls of Freedom" that President Kennedy was to deliver "in the Trade Mart in Dallas, Texas, at noon on November 22, 1963"; the text of a speech titled "This Country is Moving and It Must Not Stop," which the President was "scheduled to deliver at the Texas Welcome Dinner at the Municipal Auditorium in Austin, Texas, on the evening of November 22, 1963"; and a program for the "Texas Welcome Dinner," listing guest speakers for the event and featuring small black and white images of President Kennedy, Vice President Johnson, and Texas Governor John Connally. All three items were "Printed by the State Democratic Executive Committee of Texas" in Austin and are in outstanding condition, bearing only the faintest age toning.Auction Info
