Description
Winchester Model 62A Slide Action Rifle. Serial no. 323866A, .22 caliber, 23-inch round barrel with ivory bead front and adjustable rear sights. Blued finish. Hardwood stocks with curved steel buttplate. Conditon: Very good. Barrel retaining approximately 85-95% original blue finish with scattered spotting and small patches of fine pitting. Tube magazine retaining approximately 70-80% original finish, toning brown and with losses forward of the slide. Receiver with approximately 60-70% finish with scattered scratches and moderate edge wear. The balance a thinning gray-brown patina. Tool marks to screws. Wood is very good to fine with age wear and patina. Buttplate good with scattered spotting. Mirror bright bore.Auction Info
