Description
Unmarked Matchlock Carbine. NVSN, approximately .70 caliber, 27 1/2-inch decoratively etched octagonal barrel with fixed sights. Matchlock action with brass hinge cover. Smooth walnut stock with brass furniture.Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark brown / black patina with scattered wear and fine patches of pitting. Stock showing scuffs, scratches and bruising. Large 20-inch crack to underside of forearm, with some splintering and minor wood loss coming off of it. Screw absent in brass furniture. Action needs adjustment. Bore is good.
