Description
Weatherby Mark V Left-Handed Bolt Action Sporting Rifle. Serial no. P56829, .240 Weatherby Magnum caliber, 24-inch barrel with rail-mounted telescopic sight rings [no scope present]. Blued finish. Skip-checkered fore-end and pistol-grip Monte Carlo stock with recoil pad. Sling eyes. Made in W. Germany.Note: The .240 Weatherby Magnum was introduced in 1968, it was the last caliber introduced while Roy Weatherby was still alive. This gun was probably made in the early 70's. A very nice example. Condition: Very good to excellent. Retaining approximately 95-100% finish with some storage wear. Wood is very good, a few dings and scuffs to wood are present. Action excellent. Bore is excellent.
