Custom Griffin & Howe Bolt Action Rifle with Telescopic Sight. Serial no. 225277, .30-06 Govt., 24-inch half round half octagonal barrel marked: NO. 967 GRIFFIN & HOWE , INC NEW YORK. Ramped front sight with steel bead. Mauser action. Light scrollwork to receiver, triggerguard and elaborate engraved game scene to floorplate. Fancy Walnut checkered Monte Carlo pistolgrip stock, checkered steel buttplate and ebony fore-end cap. Checkered case-hardened pistolgrip steel cap. Together with Leupold M8- 4X telescopic sight with Beuhler mounts. Sling swivels present.Condition: Fine to excellent as customized at time of configuration with a matted finish. Wood excellent with very few marks. Marred screws. Optics clear. Action crisp. Bore good
