Description
Colt New Service Double Action Revolver Marked RCMP. Serial no. 305979, .45 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel. Blued finish. Backstrap marked: RCMP 2289. Butt is marked: MP. Checkered hard rubber grips. Sold together with a photostatic copy of the factory letter which confirms current configuration and a 1919 ship date to Royal North West Mounted Police. Condition: Fine. Retaining approximately 80-90% original finish with scattered fine scratches and light pitting. Chip to toe of left grip panel. Bright, strong bore. Action excellent.Auction Info
