Description
Late Civil War period (1864-1865) Cavalry Officer's Kepi, with embroidered insignia on the front. Scovill manufactured cavalry eagle buttons hold chin strap in place. Visor is loose, but attached at each end and the leather inside hat band has been restiched long ago. Inside fabric appears to be period.Auction Info
