Fine Colt Third Model 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver.
Serial no. 39106[all matching except wedge], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with brass pin front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Silver-plated brass frame. Small triggerguard. Varnished walnut grips. All numbers match except for wedge. Manufactured 1854.

Condition: Very good to fine. Retaining approximately 10-15% blue primarily in protected areas, the balance a very smooth lightly mottled gray-brown patina. Very strong cylinder scene. Four of the safety pins remain untouched. Nipples with very little wear. Frame with traces of case-colors and shows signs of possibly having been polished. Grip frame retains nearly all of original silver plate. Grips with approximately 90-95% original varnish. Crisp action. Very strong bore.
