Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver.
Serial no. 47119(all matching including wedge), .31 percussion caliber, 5-inch octagonal barrel with brass pin front sight. Two-line New York address with ding bats. 5-shot cylinder with stagecoach holdup scene. Brass backstrap and trigger guard. Varnished walnut grips. Manufactured 1852.

Very good. Retaining traces of blue only in protected areas, the balance a gray patina with scattered nicks. Scant traces of case colors. Muted mustard patina to brass. Grips are fine retaining traces of varnish, possibly a later addition. Action excellent.
