With publisher's handwritten limitation notice on the front pastedown: "The publisher certifies that / this is one of a special edition / of eighty copies only. This is / # seventeen. / The Prime Press." Signed by the author, illustrator, L. Robert Tschirky, and Ray Bradbury, the author of the introduction, on the front free endpaper, with an additional inscription by Bradbury reading, "Ted was / an inspired / madman!" With an original pencil drawing of Sturgeon by Tschirky laid in. Octavo. 355 pages. Publisher's red buckram with titles in gilt on the spine. All edges untrimmed. Housed in the publisher's red slipcase. Very minor fading to spine cloth, else a fine copy in a somewhat worn slipcase. From the Jerry Weist Collection.
