Theodore Sturgeon. This is "It". Philadelphia: Prime Press, [1948]. Twenty-nine leaves on proof paper, printed on rectos only. Printed stapled wrappers. 6 x 7.5 inches. Issued in advance of Without Sorcery as a promotion and distributed at the 1948 World Science Fiction Convention (TORCON). Of the 200 copies printed, publisher Oswald Train speculated that only about fifty were handed out at TORCON "as giveaways and a very few sold afterwards, and the rest were either lost, destroyed, or discarded when the full book came out" (Chalker).
