Edward E. Smith, Ph.D. First Lensman. Reading: Fantasy Press, 1950. First edition. Limited to 500 numbered and signed copies, this being number 267. Inscribed by the author to E. Everett Evans, to whom the book is dedicated. Octavo. 306 pages. Laid in is a photograph of Edward E. Smith speaking at what appears to be the 1947 Cinvention put on by the Cincinnati Fantasy Group. Attached to the dedication page with cellophane tape is a photograph of Smith and Evans from the early 1940s. Blue cloth over boards. Pristine dust jacket.
