[Hugo Gernsback, editor.] A Complete Bound Run of the Science Fiction Series. New York: Stellar Publishing [1929-1932]. Signed by Jack Williamson on the title page of "Girl From Mars," written by Williams and Miles J. Breuer. Octavo. "A group of eighteen twenty-four page self-covered booklets issued intermittently by one of Hugo Gernsback's companies. The overall level of the stories is low, leading to the suspicion that they were rejected for Gernsback's magazines, but considered adequate for more limited publication" (Bleiler). Many illustrations. The eighteen pamphlets have been bound without the original wrappers. Green cloth over boards. Very good. Bleiler, Science-Fiction, the Early Years, p. 655.
