Description
Audubon Imperial Quadruped Print: Cervus Leucurus; Long-Tailed Deer. This lot features plate # CXVIII, the long-tailed deer. Only the male of the species is pictured in this print, as it runs across the plains; three birds are pictured overheard. A wonderful print, it even shows the horns of the deer as it runs. Audubon produced 150 prints illustrating the quadrupeds of North America.Auction Info
