Description
Classic Philadelphia Derringer With a 3" Barrel. This derringer is in superb condition, nicely engraved and even possibly unfired. There is 100% of the varnish intact on the wood with slight bluing left on the barrel. The markings "Derringer, Philadelphia" are strong and very legible. The left side of the breech is marked "P" within a sunburst motif. The trigger guard finial engraving dates this pistol from 1850-1870. Examples of derringers such as this and not fitted for ramrods generally bring premium prices. This is an exceptional pistol.Auction Info
