Description
Charles X Letter Signed. "Charles Philippe" one page, Jan 1, 1775 to the Finance Minister regarding funds to be paid. Charles was the brother of Louis XVI and Louis XVIII, however he left for England prior to the French Revolution and stayed there until about 1814 when the Bourbon Restoration made it safe to come home. Overthrown by Louis Philippe in 1830, signed Charles items are scarce. A nice royal document from Versailles. Fine ConditionAuction Info
