Description

Buzz Aldrin's Personal Flight Clipboard with Various Paperwork Attached. Measures approximately 6" x 9", heavy tin, titled "IFR Flight Organizer" and illustrated with various flight-specific lists and illustrations. Clipped to the board is a collection of flight paperwork, including a Cessna 182 Skylane Checklist, two flight checklists on bifolia, a portion of Gunnell Aviation letterhead, two Los Angeles low altitude enroute charts, and two pages of miscellaneous stationery. Aldrin has printed his name, "Buzz Aldrin" at the top of the Cessna 182 Skylane Checklist, which he has also annotated with various numbers and other notes. Aldrin continued to fly locally near his home in Los Angeles following his retirement from NASA, and he most assuredly used this clipboard in his travels. A rare opportunity to acquire a wonderful clipboard flown by Buzz Aldrin. From the personal collection of Dr. Buzz Aldrin and accompanied by a signed Letter of Authenticity from him.
