Description
Harrison & Tyler: 1840 Log Cabin Advocate Newspaper. This four-page newspaper from Baltimore features two different woodcut images of William Henry Harrison. On the top left front cover, it features a screaming eagle above an O.K. oval with all the states. It shows the official election results from all the states by county. Inside it has the president's message to the two Houses of Congress at the commencement of the second session of the twenty-sixth Congress. The newspaper is dated Tuesday morning December 15, 1840.
