Description
Twenty Dollar Bill Flown to the Moon Signed "Dave Scott," "Jim Irwin," and "Al Worden." Written on the lower edge of the verso of the bill: "Flown to the Moon aboard the flight of Apollo 15 (July 26-August 7, 1971) Al Worden CMP." Accompanied by an 8.5" x 11" Certificate of Authenticity from the Apollo 15 Command Module Pilot signed "Al Worden" ("I certify that this $20-dollar bill, serial number B17808316A went to the moon aboard Apollo 15 in the spacecraft 'ENDEAVOR'. It remained in the command module during the lunar orbit phase of the flight..." Also present is a one page Typed Letter Signed "Alfred M. Worden," on NASA stationery dated December 16, 1971, stating "This is to certify that this $20.00 bill S/N B17808316A was carried aboard the command module 'Endeavor' during the Apollo 15 flight to the moon 26 July - 7 August 1971."Auction Info
