Description

Sportsman / Fowler Mechanical Bank made by J & E Stevens Co., designed by Edwin I. Pyle, Bridgeport, CT, circa 1892. Place a coin in the slot, and set the trap. When the bird is placed on the trap and the lever is pushed, the coin disappears, and the bird rises in the air while the sportsman fires. From the William Esser Collection.
