Description
Winchester Model 1894 Takedown Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 63651, .30-30 W.C. F. caliber, 26-inch octagonal takedown barrel dovetailed front sight and elevation rear sight. Full-length magazine. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer, lever and buttplate. Walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent butt.Condition: Very good. Barrel and magazine retaining approximately 65-70% of a possibly reblued finish with scattered light pitting visible. Frame retaining approximately 70-80% blue finish with light wear to relief edges. Hammer and lever with slight traces of case-hardening present in protected areas. One tang screw missing, the other incorrect. Wood with wear and light handling marks. Five circular indentations on left side of buttstock. Action good. Bore a bit dark.
