Description
Winchester Model 1876 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 8754, .45-60 caliber, 23-inch octagonal barrel with dovetailed front sight and open elevation rear sight. Blued finish. Thumbprint dust cover. Varnished walnut stock and fore-end. Crescent butt. Cleaning rod reservoir in butt.Condition: Good as refinished. Retaining approximately 30-40% of an old refinish with scattered light pitting, fine scratches and surface spotting present. Rear sight lacking elevator. One screw with marred slot. Wood with numerous dents and bruises. Action good. Bore with scattered light pitting.
