Description
Irving Stone Letter Signed Twice. Two pages, 5.5" x 8.5", Pleasantville [New York], February 7-8, 1963. A letter from the American author writing to Ms. Marjorie Nicholson from Readers Digest, explaining the desire to publish a condensed version of his article "Improbable Story of 'The Pieta'" that first appeared in New York Times Magazine. A lengthy typed postscript signed dated the next day is on page two. Flattened folds with bits of paper loss at top corner where previously stapled.Auction Info
