Imperial Size Photograph: Great Street Scene, Sturgis, Dakota, ca. 1890. Large format photograph by Grabill (John C. H. Grabill) is titled "Ox teams" at Sturgis, Dak. No. 2717 1890. This image depicts an oxen team pulling wagons down Main Street of the town of Sturgis, also a wagon being pulled by two horses. There are many readable business signs in this image. Printed on verso in ink Grabill Chicago Portrait & view Co. 113 Adams Street opposite Post office, Chicago. Measures approximately 10" x 8".Condition: Very good, has spot right hand side, mount is soiled.
