Description
Mercury-Atlas 7 (Aurora 7): Two Vintage Carpenter and Glenn Post-Flight Photos all from the Personal Archives of NASA Legend Bill Taub. Two 10" x 8" prints (one B&W and one color) of Carpenter discussing his flight with John Glenn. The color print is on Kodak fiber-based paper bearing the "A Kodak Paper" watermark on the verso. The B&W print features printed caption on verso. Very fine.NOTE: The photos from this archive were the inspiration for the recent book by J. L. Pickering and John Bisney, Photographing America's First Astronauts, Project Mercury Through the Lens of Bill Taub. A beautiful book from the Purdue University Press. Highly recommended.
