Group of Cartes De Visite Including Identified Massachusetts Officer. Included with this grouping is a clear, vignetted image of 2nd Lt. James T. Higgins, an officer of Co. B, 61st Massachusetts Vol. Infantry (the last regiment to be raised in that state, seeing action at the siege of Petersburg). Also in the group is a seated officer holding a slouch hat by Brady's New York gallery, a naval officer by the well known Boston studio of Black and Case (with a January, 1865 revenue stamp affixed on the back) and a fullstanding view of a young infantryman wearing fatigue coat and leather gear, photographer unknown. All images are clear with good contrast.
