Silver South Carolina Secession or Hat Pin, Circa 1861. 1¾" high. Extensive hand engraved decoration with the center of the palmetto tree and the base highlighted in black. The pin on the back is an old replacement but the base and closure loop are both original. Ex. Bruce Kusrow. Unique and very rare piece of early war Confederate insignia.Auction Info
