Confederate Documents: Letter from South Carolina Governor Milledge Bonham to General P. G. T. Beauregard. One page, 8" x 10", August 20, 1863, Charleston, [South Carolina], on State of South Carolina, Executive Department letterhead. The letter requests an answer to a previous letter regarding the movement of guns. Bonham was a major-general in the South Carolina Militia and a brigadier general in the Confederate States Army. Separation at folds, chipping, and general toning, else very good.Auction Info
