5½" High x 12" Long
Dogs were popular subjects for ancient Colima sculptors. Besides being beloved pets, dogs served as sources of warmth and food. The dog is shown in a playful poise. He appears to be ready to pounce. Tips of his ears and the end of the snout have been restored.
