Chilean Court Sword Manufactured by Schnitzler & Kirschbaum, Solingen, Germany. 32¼" triangular blade with gilded floral scroll on blued panels. Ornate brass guard with Indian maiden pommel and crossed Chilean flags on the clamshell guard. Mother of pearl grip panels with an engraved brass plaque on the obverse reading "LIBERTAD". Lacking scabbard. The guard is loose and the mother of pearl grips are modestly chipped. Surface rust on the lower 40% of the blade and with a 3" bend and resulting hairline split to one side of the blade, otherwise in good condition.
