Description

Model 1915 Enlisted Spiked Helmet and Cover. A nice standard 1915 wartime enlisted spiked helmet in overall sound condition. The helmet retains a nice shape, exhibiting some evidence of recent restoration and the addition of a reproduction chinstrap and two reproduction cockades, both of which are the black and white Prussian state cockades. The metal fittings have suffered some loss of finish and the liner has suffered the loss of a few of the leather tongues, otherwise the helmet is complete and in very good condition. Included is a skillfully made reproduction cloth cover which displays nicely on the helmet.
