Description
Winchester Limited Edition Model 23 "Golden Quail" Double-Barrel Shotgun. 28 gauge, 2¾" chambers. Serial number GQ-71E. Manufactured in Japan. 25½" Winchester proof steel barrels with a slightly concave matte rib and ivory front bead. The overall weight is about seven pounds, with an overall length of 42½", a LOP to the Winchester factory pad of 14¼", DAC 1¾", DAH 2¾". The coin finish action and trigger guard are lavishly engraved with floral decoration. The bottom of the receiver has "One of 500" engraved over a gold-relief quail. Single gold trigger. Checkered English-style walnut stock and forearm. This is a handsome shotgun showing only modest use, and it is in generally excellent condition.Auction Info
