Description

Lot of Two Vintage German Tin Toy Armored Vehicles. Includes: 1) An un-maker marked, wind-up camouflaged tank, 8" in length, with rubber treads, bearing a faint resemblance to a French Renault tank though it is probably just a fanciful design. The wind-up mechanism is untested though it appears to function properly. This vehicle is camouflaged in a dark tan, brown and green mottled pattern. Though it displays moderate playwear, it remains in very good condition. 2) A friction-powered armored car, 8.25" in length and maker marked "Armee" on the underside. The car sports rubber tires and the original finish has been camouflaged over by hand with aircraft-type decals of more modern vintage added. The friction mechanism appears to be working and other than the non-original finish, the armored car is in very good condition.
