Description
Moore's Patent Firearms Co. .32 Rimfire Single Action Revolver. This very fine example exhibits the rare barrel markings "Mf'd For Smith & Wesson". Serial number 6875, very sharp gun. 4" octagonal barrel retains 40% of the original bright blue mixed with smooth dark patina. The elaborately scroll engraved frame retains 40% of the original silver, with the seven shot cylinder retaining 30% of the original blue. All markings sharp and crisp, as is the action. Walnut grips retain 90% of the original varnish. Really a fine example of this very popular Civil War revolver and especially desirable with these rare markings.Auction Info
