Apollo 11 Original NASA Glass Slide, an Image of the Gold Olive Branch, Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, Certified and Encapsulated by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty. A 2" square (sight size) early generation positive transparency, NASA image S69-40941, mounted in a hand-numbered 4" x 3.25" glass slide. This is of the gold replica of an olive branch, the traditional symbol of peace, which was left on the moon's surface by Apollo 11 crewmembers. Neil Armstrong was in charge of placing the small replica (less than half a foot in length) on the moon. Rare and desirable. Excellent, sealed in a numbered archival holder.
