Gene Cernan Signed Large Apollo 17 Lunar Surface "Flag Salute" Color Photo. A 20" x 16" silk-finish photo on Kodak Endura paper of Commander Cernan saluting the American flag with the LM Challenger and the Lunar Roving Vehicle in the background, NASA image AS17-134-20379. He has signed in black felt tip: "'America's Challenge Has Forged/ Man's Destiny of Tomorrow'/ Gene Cernan/ Apollo XVII/ Commander/ Dec 1972". This was a portion of his famous last words on the moon.
