Description
The Tombstone and Arizona Territory Collection
Check Made Out to and Endorsed on Verso by Tombstone Lawman James Flynn. Flynn ran unsuccessfully for town marshal, but did serve as a policeman under Virgil Earp, and became Acting City Marshal after the October 26, 1881 street fight. He is credited with having broken up a near gunfight between Johnny Ringo and Doc Holliday on January 17, 1882, by grabbing Ringo and hustling him away. The check is in excellent condition and is nicely custom framed to 13.5" x 8".Auction Info
