Description
Colt Model 1855 Root Sidehammer Revolver. Serial no. 6321, .32 caliber, 4 1/2-inch barrel. Sidehammer. Five-shot fluted cylinder. Spur trigger. Blued finish. One-piece varnished rosewood grip. Condition: Fair to good as refinished. Retaining approximately 10-15% of an old reblue, the remainder with dark age patina and scattered light pitting. Grips with wear and blemishes. Action needs work as cylinder does not advance when hammer is cocked.Auction Info
