Apollo Command Module Recovery Hook. A heavyweight 8.5"x 6.5" metal hook that was used to retrieve the Command Module after splashdown. Two photos accompany the item where the hook is visible during recovery. Comes from collection of longtime NASA employee involved with the recovery team.
