Description
Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine With Indian Tacks. No visible serial number, .38 W.C.F. caliber, 20-inch round barrel with standard sights. Stock wrist covered in leather which has been adorned with brass tacks. The fore-end has been similarly decorated in the Indian style.Condition: Fair. Metal well worn and with a uniform brown patina. Original markings worn thin or off completely. Stock likely a homemade replacement. Stock cracked at the wrist and loose on the tang. Mechanically sound. Bore dark and slightly pitted. An attractive decorator.
